Britkits SW-1200 sound problems FYI

Postby jwest13600 » Sun Dec 09, 2012 10:17 pm

The nerw 1200's have a sound file mis-entered and the NERW Enhancement Pack v2 will over write any corrections that are done to the eng files.

this is the line with the error...

<Provider d:type="cDeltaString">Kuju</Provider>
<Product d:type="cDeltaString">RailSimulatorUS</Product>
</iBlueprintLibrary-cBlueprintSetID>
</BlueprintSetID>
<BlueprintID d:type="cDeltaString">Britkits\EMDAudio\RailVehicles\Diesel\SW1200\Cab\SW_Cab_Occlusion.xml</BlueprintID>

this is what it should look like...

<Provider d:type="cDeltaString">Britkits</Provider>
<Product d:type="cDeltaString">EMD</Product>
</iBlueprintLibrary-cBlueprintSetID>
</BlueprintSetID>
<BlueprintID d:type="cDeltaString">Audio\RailVehicles\Diesel\SW1200\Cab\SW_Cab_Occlusion.xml</BlueprintID>

Hi John,

That's partially correct... either the original "Kit 05 sw1200" freeware and payware packs (still the same updated versions for TS2012, files date 05-07-2012) have the mis-entered CabOcclusion tag you showed in red.

However I didn't touch in any sounds blueprints in the engines in the NEP V2.0 (files date 06-02-2012), they are exactly as in the old NE-SW1200 pack (files date 04-22-2012) that I worked on. If they are correct, or wrong, it's not a NEP thingy.

As far as I still can see (I've just re-downloaded it, and looks like a "new" version once the files witihin are now dated 06-08-2012), the new NE-SW1200-RW3 pack (new name, new files dates and not enhanced) has the correct entries (blue collored) for the black model (but only this, the others like the CSX are still wrong as per the original Britkits assets). Maybe Bob Artim has corrected the blueprint of the NE Black version only (including the April version in which I worked on), the other repaints seem to be still wrong (I didn't check all of them) as per the original Britkits assets of May.

Cheers,
Doc.

No I did not change anything. I did not know they were out of sync.
